Carnauba Wax

NRTech also offers natural plant-based wax from leaves of the carnauba palm Copernicia prunifera (Tree of Life), a plant native to and grown only in the northeastern regions in Brazil. Carnauba wax usually comes in the form of hard, light yellow flakes. It is known as “queen of waxes”.

Valued among natural waxes for its hardness and high melting temperature, Carnauba wax is used as a food-grade polish and as a hardening or gelling agent in a number of products. It is compatible with most plant-based and mineral waxes, and a large variety of natural and synthetic resins.
